I’ve been working on a number of new projects over the month of January, and I can’t wait to show them to you in the upcoming weeks! Here’s a sneak peek of the projects, both art and books!
Cat Chronicles – new book coming!
I’ve begun outlining, writing, and creating color palettes for my newest children’s book: the third book in the Cat Chronicles series! The cover and title will be revealed soon, but know that it is adorable and completely fun to put together because of the action. This little guy jumps, runs, and tumbles more than what has been shown in Alone and Afraid, my first two books in this series. If you haven’t already grabbed these, now is the time! Until the end of February (2026) the two books and a digital card set are available for 20% off as a special bundle in my Etsy shop!
Voices details – and potential cover sketch
I have been kicking around the idea of updating my Voices cover. This is my graphic novel that will be released in the next couple of months. Nothing about the cover is final yet, but as I’m adding more details into the book and making sure everything ties together, I’m wondering if it needs a different cover than the proposed one. Additionally, I’m incorporating some background clues that you might not catch the first time around, so be sure to pay attention as you read to see other character’s reactions as the main action occurs!
New pop-up studio – new setup
Today is a day of firsts. I’m popping into a new market to test the waters with a larger community. I am also creating more space in my pop-up studio by rearranging and simplifying my setup. I hope it opens up the studio area as well as opening opportunities for more conversations and browsing.
February print – free for subscribers
I am excited to show you the print for February—available at the beginning of next month! This is a free download for subscribers, but will also be available for purchase on my Etsy shop downloads. My intention is that it is detailed and cute, while allowing you to see a “regular” concept in a new light.
